Clenbuterol hydrochloride is a sympathomimetic amine, acting highly specific on the bronchial musculature beta2 receptors, being bronchodilatorspasmolytic its primary purpose, also having the ability to stimulate the ciliamovement, facilitating the bronchial sputumsubsequent phlegm elimination.
Indication of the product
Due to its ability, is indicated for the treatment of respiratory diseases characterized by bronchial spasms. Adjuvant therapy for respiratory diseases such as pneumonia, bronchitis, prophylaxis of allergic reactions caused by agents of environmental allergens (dust haysawdust).
Clinical trials have shown remarkable improvement in cases of pulmonary hemorrhage.

How to use
Basic Dose: 0.8 mcg / kg twice a day – Pulmonil Gel 5 ml to 125 kg body weight twice a day. A measure contain 4 mL of Pulmonil Gel.
Treatment lenght
The duration of treatment depends on factors related to the disease, etiology, general condition of the animal frame that only a veterinarian can evaluate.
For guidance, based on clinical trials for acute states its recommend a treatment up to 2 weeks. For chronic conditions up to 4 weeks . On hypersensitive to environmental agents horses is recommended to use the Pulmonil each time the animal has allergic episodes.
Precautions
Do not use in horses intended for slaughter for human consumption.
In races where there is anti-doping test, it is recommended to stop using the product with 7 days in advance.
Collateral effects
Exceptionally can be seen sweating in the neck causing transient peripheral vasodilation.
Contraindication
Due to antagonism Pulmonil Gel with prostaglandinsoxytocin, we recommend suspending the use of Pulmonil Gel in pregnant mares a week before the expected date of delivery. Due to the risk of potentiating the effects of peripheral vasodilatation recommendation of corticosteroids is not their association with Pulmonil Gel.
